Harry E. Gould, Jr., Chairman and President of Gould Paper Corporation, New York City, announced the appointment of Graham Fraser as Sales Director for the magazine sector of its Publishing Division in the UK.
Roger Spikesman, Managing Director of Gould’s UK operation, said, “I am particularly pleased to add someone of Graham’s background to our sales management team.”
Mr. Fraser had been with UPM Kymmene since 1990 and was head of magazine sales for its UK operation from 1996 to 1998. From 1998 until the end of 2008, Graham had been UPM’s segment director for magazine and catalogue publishing in the UK.
Alan Badcock, Gould’s Managing Director for the Publishing Division in the UK, describes the appointment as significant and indicative of the company’s ambitious growth plans. He stated, “Our suppliers have been dramatically cutting back on sales personnel who have had direct contacts with the mills’ customer base. Graham, with his long-standing publishing experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and a new dimension to Gould’s offering to its customers.”
